PURPOSE: Musulju which is an alcoholic beverage using a dog as a main ingredient is provided. CONSTITUTION: Musulju is manufactured by using a dog and medicinal herbs including Lycium chinense MILL. and Glycyrrizae Radix. Its manufacturing method comprises the steps of: removing the skin and intestines from a dog; steaming the dog meat then pounding it to remove bones therefrom; cooking it into gruel; adding malt, glutinous rice, Lycium chinense MILL. and Glycyrrizae Radix; and maturing the mixture at 25 to 28 deg.C for 2 weeks.
