PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular smart entry system capable of enhancing the ease of getting-on/getting-off at night time or the like by adequately demonstrating the function of an illumination device provided on a door mirror part of a vehicle when a person gets on/gets off the vehicle. SOLUTION: In the vehicular smart entry system for performing the lock control of a vehicle 300 by a portable machine 10, when the presence of the portable machine 10 is detected in a predetermined area with respect to the vehicle 300, an illumination device provided on a door mirror part DM of the vehicle 300 is lit to illuminate an area at the feet of a user U1.
