WOVEN BELT AND METHOD FOR WEAVING BELT

PURPOSE: A method for weaving a woven belt by weaving a plurality of binder yarns into an outer webbing to fix a top and bottom layer and then weaving a plurality of simulated chain stitch yarns into the outer webbing is provided which reduces the manufacturing cost and increases the durability of a product. Thus the obtained woven belt can be used as an improved Taekwondo(or karate) belt or more generally as high quality webbings for rucksack, packing string and clothes. CONSTITUTION: A woven belt(10) contains a woven outer webbing(14) defining a length(L), and the woven outer webbing has a top and bottom layer. Pluralities of binder yarns are woven into the outer webbing to together fix the top and bottom layer. The binder yarns are aligned substantially parallel to one another and to the length. A plurality of stuffer yarns extend through the top and bottom layer of the woven outer webbing and between the binder yarns. Pluralities of simulated chain stitch yarns(16) are woven into the woven outer webbing, and the simulated chain stitch yarns are disposed substantially parallel to one another and to the length.
