PURPOSE: A push type lead frame supply apparatus is provided to improve the safety of working by automatically retreating a moving block, to reduce the percent defective, and to enhance the durability of a supply apparatus. CONSTITUTION: The lead frame supply apparatus comprises a moving block(30) consisting of a lower block(31) having a guide protrusion and an upper block(33) having a stopper(34), an air cylinder(20) formed between the fixing members(11) of a base unit(10) to move the lower block of the moving block by the pneumatic pressure, a sensing unit(40) having a guide groove(42) and a sensor, an elastic unit(60) having a push bar(51) moving along the guide groove and a cut-off block(52) formed on the rear face of the push bar, and a solenoid valve. The elastic unit is formed in a supply unit(50) and the sensing unit, and makes a cut-off protrusion of the supply unit connect and disconnect a sensor. The departure of the protrusion of the supply unit is sensed by a light emitting protrusion and a light receiving protrusion of the sensing unit. The solenoid valve supplies the backup air to the air cylinder by the sensing signals of the light emitting unit and the light-receiving unit.
