The housing (1) has receiving parts (2, 3) accommodating electric and electronic components, parts, component groups and/or parts groups in an inner area of the receiving parts. Locking parts (4, 5) close the receiving parts. A bayonet connector connects the locking parts with the receiving parts and provided between one of the locking parts and one of the receiving parts and/or both locking parts and the former receiving part and/or the locking parts and the receiving parts. The bayonet connector forms a constant gap in a connected position, where the width of the gap is zero. An independent claim is also included for an electric or electronic device having a housing.
