PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine containing a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic derivative, its pharmacologically permissible salt, its ester or other derivative, and to provide an agent for inhibiting ileac bile acid transporter. SOLUTION: The medicine contains a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic derivative expressed by general formula (Ia) [R<1> , R<2> , R<3> and R<4> are each H, hydroxy or a lower alkoxy; R<5> is an aryl or a substituted aryl; R<6> is a group of CONR<7> R<8> (R<7> is a 1-10C alkyl or the like; and R<8> is an aryl or the like)], its pharmacologically permissible salt, its ester or other derivative.
