<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet having a high transfer density even in a high-speed processing, and an image forming method using the sheet. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming method, an image is formed by a combination of the thermal transfer sheet which has a thermal transfer layer containing a thermally transferable coloring material and a binder component on a base constituted of a plastic film and having a thickness of 5 μm or less, with a thermal transfer image receiving sheet which has on a substrate at least one receiving layer containing polymer latex and at least one heat insulating layer containing a hollow polymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
