<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check valve which exerts an excellent sealing performance with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The check valve is equipped with: an O-ring 17 which is externally fitted to a downstream side end 15c of an abutment surface of a valve seat 23 and valve element 15, seals the downstream side end 15c at a time of non-filling with high-pressure fluid and has elasticity allowing diameter enlargement to a side parting from the downstream side end 15c by pressure of high-pressure fluid filled at a time of filling with high-pressure fluid; an O-ring accommodation part S1 which is provided to a circumferential part of the downstream side end 15c and which accommodates a seal member 17 expanded in diameter to a side parting from the downstream side end 15c while the high-pressure fluid is filled; and a high-pressure fluid introduction passage H2 for communicating with the inside of a high-pressure vessel 50 to introduce high-pressure fluid filled in a high-pressure vessel 50.
