Provided is a plant cultivation device which comprises a simplified structure of a tray lift mechanism for transferring a cultivation tray into and from an arbitrary cultivation tray rack, can prevent distortion or deflection, and can be smoothly driven with space-saving efficiency. The plant cultivation device (100) comprises multiple cultivation trays (120), which are arranged in multiple rows and columns and in which plants (S) can be cultivated, multiple cultivation tray racks (110), in which the cultivation trays can be held respectively, and a cultivation tray lift mechanism (150) for transferring the cultivation trays (120), wherein the cultivation tray lift mechanism (150) is equipped with a lift rack, a pair of linear guides, a pair of up-and-down guides, a pair of up-and-down chains, an up-and-down sprocket and an up-and-down driving means. |
