PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material for multi-pack in which packaging operation can be performed manually in a short time, even by an unskilled person with ease and, after the packaging material is packaged as multi-pack, containers are prevented from being ejected out of the multi-pack or the packaging material itself is prevented from being damaged. SOLUTION: The packaging material 1 for multi-pack for packaging a plurality of containers in a lot is constituted of a rectangular sheet member on the whole having a bottom packing part 2 at the center for wrapping the bottom part of the containers when wrapping the containers, upper packing parts 4, 4a for wrapping the top part of the containers at the opposite ends, and side face packaging parts 3, 3a for wrapping the side portions of the containers between the bottom packaging part and the upper packaging part. At least one insertion piece 11 is formed projectingly at the end part of one upper packaging part of the sheet material, while a cut-out part 23 to receive the insertion piece is formed at the side face packaging part adjacent to the upper packaging part. Cut-out parts 15 for forming a pair of holding openings are formed at one upper packaging part wherein the insertion piece is formed, while the holding openings 26 are formed at the other upper packaging parts.
