ATJMJ4 GENE INDUCING LATE FLOWERING OF PLANT AND USES THEREOF

PURPOSE: An AtJmj4 gene which induces suppression of plant blossoming and a method for inducing early blossoming of flower are provided to create a plant which is in blossoms regardless of environment. CONSTITUTION: An AtJmj4(Arabidopsis thaliana Jumonji 4) protein derived from Arabidopsis thaliana has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 2. A gene encoding the AtJmj4 protein has a base sequence of sequence number 1. A primer set for amplifying AtJmj4 gene has an oligonucleotide of sequence numbers 30 and 31. A composition for inducing early blossom of a plant contains the AtJmj4 gene.
