METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF BREAKING POINT OF CELLULAR RIGID PLASTICS AT ELONGATION

摘要

Method for determination of breaking point of cellular rigid plastics at elongation includes application to samples of force with elongation. At middle of working sections of rectangular samples at angle 90° to facets of those and at middle of working section of cylindrical sample in its perimeter one performs shaft cut with depth 0.5 mm with angle at top 45°. Evaluation of sensitivity of plastic to cut one determines with effective coefficient of concentration of tensions at elongation.
