<p>A method of setting a channel number of a broadcast station is provided to enable a user to watch a desired broadcast easily even when an area is changed, by allowing the user to designate the channel number different by each area and a broadcast station name and storing them in a broadcast receiver. A broadcast station name and a channel number corresponding to the broadcast station name are inputted through a menu of a broadcast receiver by each broadcast station(ST10). The inputted broadcast station name and channel number are stored(ST11). A user selects the channel number corresponding to the broadcast station desired by the user(ST12). A frequency of a broadcast transmitted from the broadcast station is automatically tuned, wherein the broadcast station corresponds to the selected channel number(ST13).</p> |
