<p>PURPOSE: To provide a rotary complex lance for cutting iron scrap in an electric furnace at low temperature, the lance that cuts iron scrap from the early stage of the operation when performing an iron scrap melting operation in the electric furnace and adjusts flame direction and flow of the lance during cutting and refining operations. CONSTITUTION: The rotary complex lance for cutting iron scrap in an electric furnace at low temperature comprises a rotary joint(4a) and a complex lance(3b), wherein a turn guide is formed on the outer circumference of the complex lance, the turn guide is connected to an operation part of a cylinder, a cooling water inlet(3f) and a cooling water outlet(3g) are installed on the side surface of head of the complex lance, a city gas supply pipe, an oxygen supply pipe, a cooling water inflow pipe and a cooling water outflow pipe are sequentially formed from the center of the complex lance, one city gas nozzle and two oxygen nozzles are formed on a front end of the complex lance, the rotary joint is connected to the complex lance through a shaft(4b), the shaft is embedded in the rotary joint, an inlet(5b) having small diameter is formed at one side of the rotary joint in such a way that an oxygen supply pipe(5d) is formed under the inlet, a body having large diameter is formed at the other side of the rotary joint, a socket(5a) of city gas inflow pipe is connected to the inlet of the rotary joint, an inner tube(5c) and the shaft are respectively inserted into the body of the rotary joint, snap rings(5g), springs(5h) and bearings(5e) for rotating the shaft are embedded between the body of the rotary joint and the shaft from one side, the bearings are fixed by the snap rings, two O-rings(5i) are inserted a portion where the rotary joint is contacted with the inner tube and a portion where the rotary joint is contacted with the shaft, the snap rings and the springs are installed at a shoulder part of the inner tube corresponding to a portion where the rotary joint is contacted with the inner tube so that the inner tube is closely adhered to the rotary joint, the inner tube installed at the rotary joint and the other end of the shaft are connected to the complex lance by cover nuts(5j) with a gasket(5k) being interposed therebetween, and an outer part of the shaft is supported by a bearing housing(5m).</p> |
