A method for reduction of toxicity of formaldehyde glues and plywood based thereon includes manufacture and drying a veneer, preparation of glue, application of the glue on the veneer, a veneer pack forming, pre-pressing and pressing the veneer packs. During preparing the glue to urea-formaldehyde resin a solution of ammonium persulfate is added as a hardener. |
