PURPOSE: A sweeper is provided to enable dust to be efficiently collected when the dust from a rotary rake brush is transferred by a rotary transfer member. CONSTITUTION: A sweeper comprises a rotary rake brush(3), a hopper(4), a rotary transfer member(5), a transfer plate and an opening(7). The rotary rake brush is installed on the lower part of a carrier and rakes dust. The hopper stores the raked dust. The rotary transfer member transfers the dust between the rotary rake brush and the hopper. The transfer plate is arranged radially to the rotary shaft of the rotary transfer member. The opening is formed on a casing plate.
