PURPOSE: A hard disk drive with a slider limiter is provided to restrict vertical movement of a slider by side-taps on a slider limiter and a flexure, thereby preventing collision between sliders which face each other. CONSTITUTION: A hard disk drive with a slider limiter includes a spindle motor, a disc(121), an actuator(130), and a lamp(150). The spindle motor is installed in a base member. The disc is mounted on the spindle motor and rotates. The actuator moves a read/write head to a desired location on a disc. The lamp is installed on the outside of a disc to park the read/write head when rotation of a disc stops. A depressed step unit formed on a site facing a slider is formed in a slider limiter.
