SYSTEM FOR STUDYING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE TO EXTRACT VIDEO DATA AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A system and a method for learning foreign language using a moving picture extracting method are provided to extract a specific sentence by a keyword, thereby reproducing only a part of the specific sentence in a moving picture. CONSTITUTION: A moving picture/caption database(160) stores moving picture content and caption content by moving picture content. A keyword searching module(120) searches a moving picture by a keyword. The keyword appears from the moving picture/caption database. A moving picture section information list includes sector information in which the keyword appears. A moving picture extracting module(140) partially extracts a section of a selected moving picture from the moving picture section information list.
