PURPOSE: A wireless type bicycle rental system and a method thereof are provided to reduce the power consumption thereof by wirelessly transmitting an identifier of a returned bicycle and an identifier of a return-target bicycle. CONSTITUTION: If the lock head of a wire lock is coupled to a locking hole formed at one side of self running information reception device, a return target bicycle reads out a wire lock identifier of a return-completed bicycle from an RFID tag for the wire lock. The return target bicycle transmits its wire lock identifier and the read wire lock identifier wireless. A kiosk(120) receives the wire lock identifier. |
