PURPOSE: A system for consecutively providing user based IPTV content and a method thereof are provided to move to a list or a channel of consecutive watching content if content of a currently watching channel ends. CONSTITUTION: A content information management unit(320) manages content watching history information of subscribers and property information by content. A statistic processing unit(330) generates content watching statistic information from the content watching history information. A consecutive watching list generating unit(340) groups content. If the currently watching content ends, the consecutive watching list generating unit generates a list of consecutive watching content from the grouped content.
