The device (1) has a reservoir (3) containing food, and a side ejection turbine supplied with the food by the reservoir. A distributor (20) rotated by the turbine receives the food ejected by the turbine, where the distributor communicates with respective exits. The distributor comprises separating partitions defining two collection compartments of food ejected by the turbine. The separating partitions extend on a bottom part and a side wall of the distributor. The distributor is fixed in a removable way on the device. A programmer (55) controls operation of the turbine. An independent claim is also included for an assembly comprising a device for storage and distribution of granulated foods for an animal.
