PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing interphase insulating paper which reduces its manufacturing cost, by blanking efficiently a plurality of sheets of interphase insulating paper from the same sheet body. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method, a plurality of cut pieces 36 and 37 in unfolded form, which correspond each to each one main body and each other main body that constitute each main body of interphase insulating paper, are cut off from one sheet body 38. For each cut-out piece 36 and 37, nose parts 23 and 28 are bent from sections which serve as insulating parts 18 and 20, so that they may be cubic via each trough fold 24, 29, and each ridge fold 25, 30. One main body and the other main body are thereby made each, and the main body of interphase insulating paper in the shape of a rectangular annulus is made by bonding the couplings 19 and 21 of each main body to each other.
