PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single end resonant converter which becomes ZVS (Zero Voltage Switching) in a full corresponding load region. SOLUTION: In a switching power circuit which is equipped with a primary rectifying and smoothing circuit, a switching element, a converter transformer, a secondary rectifying and smoothing circuit, and a switching element control means, an insulating converter transformer PIT and a switching element Q1 are supplied with power via a choke coil PCC, and a series resonance circuit, which controls resonance frequency, is made of a leaked inductance L1, which is generated at the primary winding N1 of the insulated converter transformer PIT, and a primary series resonance capacitor C11, and a parallel resonance circuit, which controls the resonance frequency, is made of a primary parallel resonance capacitor Cr, which is connected in parallel with the switching element Q1, and the leaked inductance L1. The switching power circuit has a series circuit composed of a capacitor C3 for clamp, which is connected in parallel with the choke coil PCC, and an auxiliary switch element Q2, and the auxiliary switch element Q2 is energized when the switching element Q1 is off.
