FOCUS CONTROL CIRCUIT

PURPOSE: A focus control circuit for increasing the precision of the focusing is provided to gradually move the lens to the target position by inputting the position signals to an equalizer. CONSTITUTION: An equalizer(30) generates a driving signal based on the difference between the lens and the predetermined location. The location of the lens is specified with the output signal of a position detection device. The location of the lens is fit in the fixed location by using the driving signal. A position setting unit(35) successively establishes a plurality of positions from the old target position to new target position.
