PURPOSE: A belt type continuously variable transmission is provided to improve the flexibility of a layout by installing a plurality of detected parts in a cylinder part having a tone wheel. CONSTITUTION: A pair of pulleys includes a fixed pulley and a movable pulley. A movable pulley is detachably contacted with the fixed pulley in an axial direction. A rotation state detection device(KS1,KS2) detects a pulley rotation having a sensor facing a tone wheel. The tone wheel(25) comprises a cylindrical body which is extended along the moving direction of the movable pulley. A detected part is installed in the cylindrical body. |
