PURPOSE: A subbase station method for scanning based on network load applied to a service base station and a band wireless access system deciding the scan number of occurrence is provided to receive the scanning of the base station efficiently. CONSTITUTION: A MS(Mobile Station) receives information about neighbor base stations to a serving base station through a neighbor advertisement message. The mobile station receives a scanning response message from the serving base station. The scanning response message includes the repeated scanning number about one or more base station. The mobile station performs the scanning about one or more base station. The mobile station reports the scanning result in the serving base station.
