PURPOSE: A method and a device for electronic device control are provided not to use a stylus and a button at the same time, thereby improving the availability of an electronic device. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen(110) is operated with a stylus(130). A button(120) operates a device. A controller(140) determines whether the stylus is removed from the device. If the stylus is removed from the device, the controller inactivates a function of the button and activates the touch screen. If the stylus is inserted into the device, the controller inactivates the touch screen and the button activates.
