PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition containing other resin dispersed in a base resin, a method for producing the resin composition, a method for producing a porous polymer and a porous polymer.SOLUTION: The resin composition contains the base resin and a terminal-branched copolymer dispersed in particulate state in the base resin. The terminal-branched copolymer is expressed by general formula (1) and has a number-average molecular weight of ≤2.5×10. In the formula, A expresses a polyolefin chain, Xand Xare the same as or different from each other and each expresses a linear or branched polyalkylene glycol group.
