At b(X)>=a(X) adjustment of the fire settings in the gun elevation angle and homing head orientation angle is performed directly proportional to the gear ratios of K1 and K2 of the missile model and of the difference of b(X') and a(X'). A(x) - the height of the extreme lower trajectory of the missile flight model with due regard for the dispersion at calculated fire settings for horizontal range X from the gun, b(x) - the height of the terrain profile according to the data of the electronic chart for horizontal range x from the gun, X'- the value of horizontal range x at which the value of the difference of a(x) and b(x) would be minimum.
