SOLVENT COMPOSITION FOR SILICONE COMPOUND

Disclosed is a solvent for silicone compounds which comprises 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene or a solvent composition for silicone compounds which comprises (A) 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and (B) at least one compound selected from a group consisting of 1,1,2,2-tetrafluoro-1-methoxyethane, 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluorobutane, and 1,1,2,2-tetrafluoro-1-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)ethane. This solvent composition is noncombustible and lowly toxic and is extremely easy to handle. Mixing this solvent composition with a silicone compound imparts satisfactory applicability to the silicone compound.
