METHOD FOR ACQUIRING MULTICAST TRAFFIC IN NETWORK PROVIDING MULTICAST SERVICE

PURPOSE: A method for acquiring multicast traffic in a network providing multicast service is provided to more accurately calculate multicast traffic during a certain time period by acquiring a use log. CONSTITUTION: A use log generated for a multicast service is acquired(S1) and classified into N multicast groups(S2). For each multicast group, a service session for each client ID is extracted(S3). Based on the extracted service session information, a session sustaining time is determined(S4). Through the traffic calculation time and the traffic bandwidth of the multicast group, multicast traffic quantity is calculated(S6).
