PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clear and user-friendly liquid crystal display device to be used for mobile electronic equipment or the like.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display 5 for displaying normal-size characters as well as larger ones, operation keys 2, font data for a plurality of sizes of the characters, a CPU 1 for selecting a desired font size, and a liquid crystal control unit 4 for changing the font of a character to the selected font. The CPU 1 changes the assignment of the operation keys 2 in accordance with the selected font size. |
