PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system that can appropriately send an abnormality report according to a user's situation when detecting an entry into a monitoring area.SOLUTION: The security system includes a sensor terminal for monitoring an intrusion into the monitoring area around a building, and an informing terminal for informing the user of detected information acquired by the sensor terminal. The informing terminal includes a display part for displaying the detected information, and an operating part for inputting the informing operation. The sensor terminal includes: a detecting part for detecting a person intruding into the monitoring area; an identifying part for identifying whether the person is the user; a storage part for storing the attribute of the user who lives in the building; and a monitoring control part for selectively carrying out first alarm processing for transmitting detected information to an external monitoring center based on the attribute of the user living in the building upon detecting an intrusion other than the user, or second alarm processing for transmitting the detected information to the monitoring sensor when transmitting the detected information to the informing terminal and receiving the informing operation. |
