PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera in which settings are adjusted by referring to an attitude of a camera case.SOLUTION: An imager 16 creates image data representing a field in front of a camera case. An imager 36 creates image data representing a field at the back of the camera case. A CPU 44 searches for a face image of a person from the image data created by the imager 36 and discriminates an attitude of the camera case in a rotating direction of an axis extending before and after the camera case based on the face image discovered by search processing. Furthermore, the CPU 44 adjusts settings related to the imager 16 and/or to the image data outputted from the imager 16 to be different in accordance with the discriminated attitude of the camera case. Improvement in camera performance can be achieved. |
