PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain proper spectral analysis by taking into consideration the characteristics of a liquid crystal element that makes the phase difference between ordinary/extraordinary lights change.SOLUTION: A device for spectral analysis includes an interference means 10 which is constituted by holding the liquid crystal element 13, capable of controlling the phase difference between ordinary/extraordinary lights of transmitted light by a pair of polarizers 11 and 12 between; a phase control means 30, which adjusts drive voltage of the liquid crystal element 13 as a phase control signal and changes continuously the phase difference between the ordinary and extraordinary lights in the liquid crystal element; a light-detecting means 20 which starts reception of synthesized light of ordinary and extraordinary lights, in synchronism with the start of phase control by the phase control means and makes that light a light-receiving signal which is discrete temporally at a prescribed signal detection rate; a signal processing means 40, which converts the light-receiving signal for changing with the change in the phase difference into spectral information; and a control means which controls the drive voltage and/or the signal detection rate so that the light-receiving signal that precisely corresponds to an interferogram corresponding to the composite light entering the light-detecting means is obtained. |
