PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric for interior decoration which is excellent in stainproofness, especially in prevention of various kinds of stains containing black stain from adhering to fiber and diffusing internally.SOLUTION: The fabric to which stainproofness is given is provided by attaching a hydrophilic polyester resin compound and a stainproof resin compound containing fluorine (a fluorine component consisting of perfluoroalkyl radical and a resin compound composed of a component contrary to a hydrophilic component consisting of polyalkylene glycol or the like in the resin structure) to a fabric. Especially, in the case of fabric to which this processing has been given, various kinds of stains containing black stain are prevented from adhering to fiber and diffusing internally by lowering surface tension owing to the stainproof resin compound containing fluorine, and various kinds of stains which adhere to fabric can be removed by wiping only the fiber surface with towel or the like of a degree which is soaked in water and wrung lightly since the hydrophilic polyester resin compound floats up oily stains diffused comparatively inside on the fabric surface.
