PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method and agent for removing contaminants that can decontaminate quickly and effectively contaminated objects such as an apparatus contaminated with grease contaminants like silicone oil and soil contaminated with grease contaminants or oil-soluble contaminants, using the same agent for decontamination regardless of the kind of the grease contaminants or oil-soluble contaminants.SOLUTION: The grease contaminants or oil-soluble contaminants in the contaminated objects are removed by using a dispersion of an amphiphile microdispersed by self-organizing in an aqueous medium or an emulsion obtained by emulsifying an oil solution using the dispersion of an amphiphile microdispersed by self-organizing in an aqueous medium. A derivative of polyoxyethylene-hardened castor oil is used as the amphiphile. |
