PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing one-side glazed paper capable of simultaneously achieving a high sizing degree, a surface strength suitable for offset printing and an internal strength, and to provide the one-side glazed paper.SOLUTION: The method for producing the one-side glazed paper includes spraying a composition containing a sizing-fixing agent on a wet paper, and successively spraying a surface-treating agent containing a sizing agent and a paper-strengthening agent in a Yankee paper machine having a wire part for dehydrating a paper stuff, a press part for squeezing the dehydrated wet paper, and a drier part for drying the squeezed wet paper, continuously installed therein. The surface to which the surface-treating agent containing the sizing agent and the paper-strengthening agent has been sprayed is the front surface, and the surface-treating agent is preferably infiltrated into the inside of the paper layer by carrying out the sucking dehydration in the direction of from the front surface to the back surface of the wet paper at the same time as or just after the spraying. |
