PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of difficulty in recognizing a mixed state of unpolished rice and unhulled rice, arising in the process of rocking/sorting hulled rice by a rocking sorting-plate and resulting from the flowing movement of the unpolished rice and the unhulled rice caused by the rocking motion of the rocking sorting-plate even if the sorting member is illuminated by an illumination lamp attached thereto.SOLUTION: There is disclosed an apparatus for sorting hulled rice. The apparatus including a rocking sorting-plate 1 for receiving and rocking/sorting hulled rice hulled in a hulling device, a sorting/discharging port 2 constituted of a zone A for discharging unpolished rice, a zone B for discharging mixed rice, a zone C for discharging unhulled rice, and the like, formed along the side part of the rocking sorting-plate 1, and a transparent plate 3 made from a transparent material and attached to the sorting/discharging port 2, for receiving and guiding the mixed rice to flow out, is characterized by including an illumination lamp 4 for transmissively illuminating the transparent plate 3 from below in the upward direction. |
