PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve precision in detection of the amount of dust on a floor surface in a vacuum cleaner for detecting the amount of dust on a floor surface.SOLUTION: A wheel 33a provided at a suction tool 31 is provided with means for detecting the number of rotation (encoder 12) to store dust distribution data within a prescribed back and forth range of the suction tool 31 as data paired with a distance from the suction tool 31 based on an output signal of the encoder 12 and an output signal of dust detection means 8, and the dust distribution data are displayed on a plurality of display means which are arranged in an operation direction of the suction tool 31. Thus, precision in detection of the amount of dust on a floor surface is improved, display of the predetermined back and forth range helps efficient cleaning, and convenience of the vacuum cleaner is improved. |
