<p>The invention relates to device (DD) for deploying a vehicle seat (SV) that includes a backrest (DS), a seat portion (AS) and two bars (PF), each bar comprising first (EP1) and second (EP2) ends rotatably mounted on a lower side part (PID) of the backrest (DS) and a rear side part (PRA) of the seat portion (AS), respectively. The device (DD) includes: i) a hinged arm (BA) comprising a first end (EA1) rotatably mounted on a front part (PVA) of the seat portion (AS) and a second end (EA2) rotatably mounted on a first element (PS1), whereby said hinged arm can be moved such as to allow the seat portion (AS) to be placed in a first supporting position or in a second position in which it is folded up against the backrest (DS); and ii) a supporting mechanism (MS) which is housed under the seat portion (AS) and can be moved into a folded position in which the seat portion (AS) can be placed in the first position thereof or into a deployed position in which it provides an upwardly offset supporting area for a predetermined part (BR1) of each hinged arm (BA) when the seat portion (AS) is placed in a third position offering a support that is raised relative to the support provided in the first position.</p> |
