PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proximity sensor which can prevent deterioration of detection characteristics caused by heat history in molding and thermal expansion of a molded article, and can reduce fluctuation of detection accuracy.SOLUTION: A sensor body of the proximity sensor A includes a case 2 and a cover attached to an opening of the case 2. A coil block 20 having a detection coil 24, and a circuit block, in which a detection circuit for detecting presence of a detected object from an oscillation state of an LC resonance circuit including the detection coil 24 is formed, are housed inside the sensor body. The case 2 includes a bottomed cylindrical coil housing part 5 of which one end side is opened. The coil block 20 includes a base 21 which is inserted in the coil housing part 5. A winding drum part 22, on which the detection coil 24 is wound around and of which a tip end abuts on an inner side surface of the coil housing part 5 when inserted in the coil housing part 5, is arranged on one side surface of the base 21. A guide rib 26 for engaging with a guide groove 13 on the inner side surface of the coil housing part 5 by protrusion and recess is projected on an opposite side surface of the base 21. |
