PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery for improving battery characteristics such as room-temperature output and low-temperature output.SOLUTION: In the secondary battery wherein a negative electrode and a positive electrode for occluding and discharging lithium are faced with each other via a separator and a nonaqueous electrolyte including a nonaqueous solvent and lithium salt is prepared, either of arithmetic average roughness Ra, maximum height Ry, and ten-point average roughness Rz on the negative-electrode side surface and the positive-electrode side surface of the separator is different between both surfaces. |
