PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient ultrasonic motor that uses a multilayer piezoelectric element and achieves a high thrust force, and an electronic device using the ultrasonic motor.SOLUTION: In the multilayer piezoelectric element 1, piezoelectric elements 10, 11, 12, and 13 are stacked. On the upper surface of the plate-like piezoelectric element 10, four internal electrodes 14a, 14b, 14c, and 14d are provided which are divided roughly at the center of each side. An internal electrode 14e is provided on the upper surface of the piezoelectric element 11 roughly over the overall surface. An internal electrode 14f is also provided on the upper surface of the piezoelectric element 12 roughly over the overall surface. External electrodes 15a, 15d, 15c, 15f, 15b, and 15e that are short-circuited with the internal electrodes 14a, 14b, 14c, 14d, 14e, and 14f are provided on the upper surface of the piezoelectric element 13. |
