PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device having long product life.SOLUTION: The light-emitting device 1 includes: a light emitter chip 10; a base material 11 with the light emitter 10 mounted thereon; a wavelength conversion member 12 for receiving light emitted from the light emitter chip 10 to emit light of a wavelength different from that of the light emitted from the light emitter chip 10; and an adhesive layer 13 for sticking the wavelength conversion member 12 to at least either of the light emitter chip 10 and the base material 11. The adhesive layer 13 is formed of an organic-inorganic hybrid material.
