PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branching device of a track system traffic system capable of considerably reducing the required width from one track to the other from three times the vehicle width.SOLUTION: The branching device 4 of the track system traffic system for changing a vehicle 3 traveling on one track 1 so as to allow the vehicle to go straight or to be delivered to the other track 2 includes a guide roller 14 supported by the vehicle 3, a first guide rail 16 installed on the side closer to the other track 2 within both sides of one track 1 and having a groove 15 for the guide roller 14, a second guide rail 17 installed on the side farther from one track 1 within both sides of the other track 2 and having the groove 15 for the guide roller 14, and a branch-straight changing guide rail 18 bent so as to smoothly connect a cut end 16a of the first guide rail 16 to a cut end 17a of the second guide rail 17, and having the groove 15 for the bent guide roller 14. The branch-straight changing guide rail 18 is elevated/lowered between the effective position where the groove 15 is connected to the grooves 15 of the cut ends 16a, 17a and the ineffective position where the groove is depressed in a road surface. |
