PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on an address resolution process executed by a communication device with a switch device connected thereto.SOLUTION: The switch device for connecting a first communication device to a second communication device includes: a table retention means to retain a list table of transmission destination addresses related to the first communication device and the second communication device; a response retention means to retain a response by the first communication device or the second communication device to a notification request for a transmission destination address when the notification request for the transmission destination address is issued to the first communication device or the second communication device; a response extraction means to extract a transmission destination address in response to the notification request from the list table when the notification request for the transmission destination address to the first communication device or the second communication device is received, and extract a response to the extracted transmission destination address from the responses retained by the response retention means; and a response means to transmit the response extracted by the response extraction means to the transmission source of the notification request. |
