PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that large heat loss is caused in a circuit element such as a transistor of a current amplifier circuit when changing a voltage value of a driving signal according to ink characteristic in an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A driving waveform controller 141 reads out and outputs driving waveform data of a common driving signal Vcom of driving voltage in accordance with characteristic information of ink stored in an ink cartridge 51. The common driving signal Vcom in accordance with the ink characteristic is outputted from the current amplifier circuit 204. A power supply voltage controller 143 reads out and outputs power supply voltage data in accordance with the characteristic information of the ink stored in the ink cartridge 51. Power supply voltage Vout in accordance with the ink characteristic is given to the current amplifier circuit 204 from a voltage adjustment part 164. |
