PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable capable of reducing the largest torsional force by making difference smaller due to different torsion directions of the torsion force necessary for torsion when a conductor is constituted of one or more of twisted wire layers in which a plurality of twisted wires are collected in parallel on the same plane face.SOLUTION: The conductor 12 constituted of one or more of the twisted wire layers in which the plurality of twisted wires 16 are collected in parallel on the same plane face contains: a right twisted wire 16a of which the twisting direction is right; and a left twisted wire 16b of which the twisting direction is left. It is preferable that difference in the number between the right twisted wire 16a and the left twisted wire 16b included in the conductor 12 is one or less. It is preferable that the right twisted wire 16a and the left twisted wire 16b are alternately arranged in the twisted wire layer.
