PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-point pen chip that allows a user to smoothly write and imparts a pressing force to the approximate center of a writing ball in a ball-point pen chip in which the writing ball is in close contact with the inner wall face at the front end of the chip when not in use.SOLUTION: The ball-point pen chip is characterized in that: a writing ball is inserted into a ball holding chamber having an ink circulation hole at the center and a radial groove radially extending from the ink circulation hole, and the front end of the chip is internally caulked, thereby freely rotatably holding the writing ball while protruding a part of the writing ball from the font end of the chip; three or more support balls, whose diameters are smaller than the diameter of the writing ball are freely rotatably arranged at the rear part of the writing ball; each support-ball receiving part with which each support ball is brought into contact is provided at the rear part of each support ball; and the support-ball receiving part has a shape protruding to the front-end side of the chip toward the axial-center side of the ball-point pen chip. |
